The Arrow is nearly back together, no changes to the engine other than an SFI flex plate and some new hardware, but it now has a new converter, a fresh rebuilt 727 by dusturbd340W5 (thanks Woody!!), finally got around to swapping out the temp gauge which was reading 25+ degrees high, replaced my heat sink trans cooler with a more traditional cooler, new headers and some new M/T ET Street tires. All I need now is to get my axles back from strange, press the bearings back on and finish getting it back together. I'm hoping for next week.

Yes it's street driven, still waiting for track performance. I hope to get it on the track soon, time permitting.

Hey John.....did you balance the tires when you got them mounted.....We have the same tires for our sons colt drag car and they took allot of weight to get them balanced....Our wheels are crager supertricks from the old days.....Jesse

Even if people say it is goofy looking, all that horsepower in a car with what looks like about a 2 foot wheelbase, just has to be fun.
Nice work!

Eric has one also, it's just his standard comment. I have had fun with it, it's a blast to drive, but the real fun will come when I can mash the gas for real!!!

Oh I have Jesse, but with the other tires on a street it's a little pointless...Kinda like racing on ice....

I had the M/T Sportsman, may have been different if I had the Pro's. Nice tires, drove well, but had zero for traction.

Must be something with the MT ET Streets with tubes that make them need allot of weight sometimes.....Thanx allot, Jesse
