just bought the truck drove it home and ran great,the next day it had a puddle of fluid under transmission, and it was very noisy,the guy said he put a new seal in the transmission and when i got their the truck was all warmed up but didnt think much of it @ the time,, MY QUSTION IS WHAT IS THE CORRECT FLUID TO PUT IN THE NV3500,IV SEEN 2 DIFFERENT ANSWERS, AND WHAT IS THE BEST FOR THE NOISY TRANSMISSION WITHOUT A COSTLY REBUILD? AND WHERE IS THE FILL AND DRAIN HOLES? DRIVERSIDE?OR?? THANKS MOPARTS COMMUNITY

I don't have the part number with me right now but it is a special fluid you can get from the dealer. It's an NV3500 only fluid.

Those big transmissions do not hold much fluid. A small leak and it's empty in no time.

If it was run low, empty before. It will be noisey but I've seen a couple transmissions noisely like that and live a long life.
