I have a 71 Demon small block with electric ignition with a chrome box.Problem has been every once and a while after driving or starting the car,and letting it get warm. After cooling down a bit and I go to start it again, it does not want to start. As if there were no spark, but when I turn back the key towards stop it gives a pop sound as if was going to start. Right after that it starts up.Can you help with my Demon she has been doing this even when the MSD was hooked up,about 12 years now.I think its my switch,want to make sure.Thank you, you always have the answers..

Put a test light at the 'small' red wire to the MSD. Check to see it has power during this condition while cranking. And since you mention MSD, what do you have a 6A? Or are you saying you have some MSD spark plug wire? Not a lot of information given. And you have not mention what tests you have done.



And if the wires that feed this wire go thru the bulkhead connector, check this for issues too.
