A friend called and is looking for the ratio on his rear 4x4 truck Dana. The tag is gone but he has some numbers on the front axle..they are
52098819
3 54 610631
I figure it's a 3:55,,,am I right???

there is a 3:54 Dana ratio as opposed to an 8&3/4 (& others) 3:55 ratio.

The rear will be 3:55 and the front is 3:54 as it is a 4x4 the front needs to turn just a tad faster than the rear when the 4x4 is locked in or they bind up.
So yes in short the rear is (or should be) 3:55's
