Jim i hope to bring my 73 dart with the new engine that is if i get it done in time. I have everything i need except a set of push rods. i took the rest of this week of to work on it. if i dont get the car done i will just have to come up and watch again. thanks mopar65

I'm going to try to make it with my GTS.....but I've got to get back to Tulsa by 8PM so I can try to make it into one of the spots of Top Ten Fastest Street Cars race at the Midnights.........  Wayne

I'll be there with my '71 and my dad's '66 (we got the new motor started last night) We went to start Abbey '68 last weekend and had something messed up and it kicked back and stripped some teeth off the starter gear on the converter..... so we went from being almost ready for the season to pulling the tranny and sending the converter in and ordering a new starter. Not sure what happened, I let someone else drop the distributor and set initial timing and it must have been way off... oh well, we'll have her back in action probably the week after Mo-Kan. FYI, pulling a 727 out of a a-body cuda with 3" exhaust and an X-pipe isn't any fun.... Sam I think you need to bring the Barracuda (want to see how it runs with the new motor) and pull it with the new Challenger....  Wayne, you won't have any trouble making it back to Tulsa by 8pm. It's usually over by 5pm.

What's up, PVP??? Those are Hoosier Quick Time Pro's (basically, slicks  ).........At the end of last year at Thunder Valley in OKC it ran 10.86 @ 126.8 with a rag disc.....If I left any higher than 2,500 it would run right through it, so now it's got a Ram paddle disc and pressure plate.......Hopefully I'll be able to launch a little higher......

Yeah, but I've still got stuff to do to it to make it legal.......and I don't have time to work on it this weekend and I've been really busy at the shop, working from 6AM to 8PM just about every day....gotta get it while the gettin is good  so I may need Saturday morning to get it race ready......
