Need to rechrome the armrest bases for my 64 300 but noticed one of them has a piece missing. I was thinking of using this Eastwood repair kit, http://www.eastwood.com/rigid-plastic-repair-kit-clear.html Anyone ever use this, and can it be chromed over?

Just an FYI....

I do have brand new reproduction arm rest bases in stock, it may be a cheaper way to go compared to repairing, and then re-chroming your originals.
