Hydraulic with adjustable rocker push rods = 7.23" long.
Clean it, if it's Dirty. Oil it, if it Squeaks.
But: Don't fix it, if it Works!

If the heads and/or block were milled that would have an impact on length. Also the thickness of the head gaskets has an impact. Some rockers, like the Comp Cams Pro Magnums, oil the push rod through the adjuster and if the pushrod is not the right length the adjuster's oil hole could get blocked. I would get a pushrod length check tool and find out what you engine needs: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TFS-9000/

Ditto; the actual length should be measured so the rocker sweeps the valve stem correctly. This is especially true of 59* SB Mopars with their wacky valvetrain angles.
on a shaft style rocker system, the pushrod length has no effect on the rocker sweep. only on a stud style rocker system will the pushrod length make a difference. it is adviseable to use a pushrod length checker to make sure you have the correct amount of threads showing on the adjuster.
