Needing to buy quarter skins (not full quarters) for a '69 Road Runner. I know AMD has a few stamping issues with the full quarters and wasn't sure about the skins. Anyone have any good or bad experiences with either? Price is pretty close on both so I'm not sure which is the better choice. Thanks!

Previous posts on this site have shown a consensus that the AMD panels are thicker. For years, Goodmark was the only choice for repro panels, so it is good to have options. If pricing is similar, call each one and ask about shipping costs and panel thickness. I have used lower quarters from Goodmark and they were thicker than stock. I have also used rear bumpers from AMD... also good quality.

Ok, that helps. I wasn't sure if there were the same fitment issues with the AMD skins as compared to their full quarters (rear marker, window corner, no weep holes, etc) so I thought the old Goodmarks might be the better bet?? Doesn't seem like there is a strong opinion one way or the other though.

Goodmark is junk. The skin they sent for my 70 Dart was very generic and very thin. While i haven't done work with AMD the reviews have been better than the Goodmark. Check out the restoration/project area for Jake71 's challenger resto. Look at what he had to do to make the Goodmark quarters fit.

Save the headache and go with AMD. They have a better product and the customer service is great!
