I have recently located a 69 Sport Satelite with bucket seats and a buddy seat, no big deal right? Its a 4 door, how strange its a 4 door with buckets?? Didn't look at the tag but I am 99% sure its original.

Not very common, same buckets as 2 door but they usually have a bolt thru the hinge so it won't fold forward.

We crushed one last summer. Must have been a sweet lookin` car. `69 sport satellite in copper metallic with a white interior and white vinyl top. Couldn`t have been too many like it.

Might be bizarre (not bazard), but it was an option on the '69 Sport Satellite 4-door sedan according to the '69 brochure.

I came across what was left of one in a U-Pull-It yard about 10 years ago. The seats were gone, but the console brackets and shifter hole were still there (automatic). If I remember correctly, it was pale yellow and coded for a 383/2bbl.

The cool part of cars like that is the story behind it. Most likely any car like that was a factory order. Someone waited for weeks, maybe months for that baby to show up just like they wanted it!, most likely a memory in someones life..... Thats cool

'68 Coronet 500 4-doors come standard with bucket seats. There is a little plate with two holes in it that locks the seat back down. It goes where the release catch for a 2-door goes. Used to be a good place to get good bucket seat cores as the hinges would not be worn out.

Nick.
