I am looking for an easy way to identify a 360 torque converter and distinguish it from big block cast crank torque onverters. I am under the notion that 360 converters used either a singl 120 gram weight or two 60 gram weights. how do i tell that from loooking at it.

All the ones I've seen have the big single house-type weight. The 440s I've seen are traditionally the 2-weight system.

The single 120 gram triangular weight measures 3.50" X 1.450". Each 60 gram weight measures 1.620" X .750".

One with the drains have a one smaller weight on each side of the drain plug. (= 2 weights) circled in blue. These weights shown are transplants off an OEM converter with a drain plug. These are off a 360.
