First off, I did not do this, but I have to live with it. The previous owner of my 69 Satellite wagon flush mounted this gas filler. Now the stock twist on type cap won't fit. Is there a locking or push on type cap I can use with this? Do I need vented or non vented for this year and model? Any and all help is appreciated.

You may have to get a cap and cut off the outside lip so it will seal on the area you have.As for the venting you'll need to look at the tank and see if it's vented. My car is a LA car and needs a different cap due to emissions.OK enough blabbing on you'll need to check you tank and go from there.PM me if you need more info....

The tank has an atmospheric vent coming off the fill tube, so I guess a non vented cap could be used. Do you think one of those locking caps used under the flip caps on a Charger would work? They are real expensive and I would hate to buy one and find it doesn't fit.

Can't you remove the flip cap and gp back to a standard style?

Take the (3) screws and the whole assy off and go from there & see if you can pull the filler neck out to where it was or get another correct filler neck
