I know that this is a stupid question, but I'm asking anyway....
The engine rotates clockwise when looking from the front. Correct? So a belt driven water pump will run in the same direction, I assume.
I have a CVR drop in pump, the fins on the impeller are curved like this ). Looking at it I was thinking it should rotate CCW. I would think you would want the curve of the impeller to spin and grab the water. But, why would you want the pump to rotate opposite of convention?
If anyone understands what the heck I'm saying and can advise, it would be appreciated.
