Brian, Hotchkis motor? I talked to them at MATS re: sixpack EFI... They seemed interested. Id be interested in a Hotchkis suspension for my 72 Barracuda... Why the carb decision? EFI works better for slalom IMO Bruce
I sell fuel injection, but Ill still rebuild your carb if I have to...

They want to keep a stealth look and have something that is more relatable to a broader span of customers.
The cars they are competing against in events like the Optima Challenge are scratch built on-off "Camaros" with $100K to $200K builds. Not much left of a Camaro exect the bare inner shell. Even the body panel are all tweeked to except bigger tires.
The top "Camaro" has new supercharged LS9 $21K crate motor with 638 HP that have been modded on top of that!
The current 340 motor in the E-Max Challenger runs a 13.9 quarter. With that motor they finished 4th in the road course and 3rd in autocross. They were not that far off the pace from the Camaro with the above mentioned mods. 52 cars competing: http://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=69695
