90 up V6 or V8 truck

Uh...don't think it was a yes or no question.

I got a v-6 one from a 97-1500 maybe, not sure what yr,it had a fat plug with lock on it,on the small wire,I got the wire and plug and crimped it on the 85 truck wire

so look for one with the 2 studs,I got one from a 93 5.2 Dak,the stock wires bolt on with the nuts like stock on the 85 440 truck

just watch for the plug change if you dont want to cut the stock wire

Take the plastic connector off the starter and just use the studs on the starter. Eliminating on possible problem.

some studed ones have a extension piece on them,just remove it

I noticed the one from the v-6 was a tad shorter also compaird to the v-8 one I got
