as far as I know, they're the same, but I've not seen a 4spd side by side with an auto, so I don't know for sure.
if I do swap mine over to a manual, I was planning on just making a new top plate, probably from REAL WOOD, instead of that metal plate with ugly fake sticker on it. might not be correct, but who cares?

There is a template floating around for cutting the auto console for 4-sp. However, personally I prefer the look of a 4-sp without console so all you see is flat carpet with that pistol grip sticking up.
