???? Stumpy all I see there is a copper shim to be used with a 8519PT gasket.

Sorry I read that as being the gasket. But I did find this. Felpro 8519PT-1 Head gasket, .039 compressed thickness. $42.68

If I recall, this is the one that comes in the Fel Pro kit. I had this question too and wound up calling them and they said the compressed thickness is .039" just like the more expensive one.

What are you using them on? I had a problem with those on a 440 before, the bore size was too small to seal past the chamfer on the deck of the block.

Using them on a 440 that is .030 over with a flat top piston, KB237's with 0 deck height.

Thanks
Dan.

They might not work, I had to use fel-pro FPP-1009's because of the chamfer on my block, just in case you don't know what that is it's the space between the bore and the deck of the block if the bore is not completely sqare to the deck.

Thanks, I will have to lay a gasket on the block and see how it looks. Never gave that a thought to be a problem on a .030 over bore. I know the block has some chamfer, just have to check it out.

Dan.
