I'm finishing a T/A and i have .88 bars, should i get .92" bars or go to 1" what is a better ride?
I only plan on regular road driving, no going wicked fast and doing stupid stuff. So out of the three give me your opinion.

For just cruising the smaller bar would give a softer ride. You could just try the ones you have now and later if you want a stiffer ride you could easily swap them for a bigger set. Also sway bars will have an effect of a stiffer ride if you have them installed the more reson for you to start with the smaller bars. Would like to see some pics if you have some.

Ya i need to get my pics on the computer sometime soon and ya it dose have the front and rear sway bars. I like the thought of having the original size of equipment on the car but i'm not racing around. I would like a better ride more than a performance ride. And i guess really who would know that the bars are not the right size unless someone had a micromiter. One other thing that i would like to change is, put a rally dash in. Now it came with standard but i would feel more manly if i had a tach and 150 speedo. Do you think that is being dumb or a good idea?

If I was in charge, I would make it mandatory that every moparts member have min 1"+ TB, clear enough?

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

The .92 will give you a softer, quieter, less harsh ride. But the 1" will give you better handling around corners, less lean, and better grip. There's almost always tradeoffs.

The .88 bars are not going to make it, far too mushy for a cornering car like a real T/A. I would put at least .92's in it and most likely 1's the ride will not be harsh with even the 1" bars. If it was my T/A I would put in a factory rallye dash as well.
You don't want a car that looks like a T/A leaning in corners like a 58 Chevy.

So it sounds like i need to get some 1" bars, now how about the right size front stabil bar? mine is a .88 now, should i find a .96 also. I bought the car as a basket case with some stuff missing. But it has the original motor and trans and all the thanks to BERRY WASHINGTON, but that is a long great story i should tell later. But the one, well one of the many other questions i have is, the fast ratio box, dosn''t have a pitman arm. what should i do about that. And last for today i would like some more opinions about the dash. Remember the car didn't come with the rallye dash so give more advice about making it into a ralley.

Is the .96 diameter front sway bar the special T/A-AAR only sway bar?

You are going to have to make a choice at some point if you want this to be a stock restoration or a restified (slightly modified) restoration.

I'd run a stock/HD E-body front sway bar and stock rear sway bar. The aftermarket ones stand out.

You could have www.redlinegaugeworks.com put a tach in your standard cluster too. IMHO those are easier to read than the Ralley tachs. He could make the speedo go to 150 mph too if you'd like. Plan on going to 150 mph in it?

Is the car coded for Fast Ratio power steering? It is an option I thought.
