Have used Plastikote and some Mopar paint recently--both covered well and were not thin or watery.
Can't remember how much I paid, but covered a big block including valve covers and pan and intake with less than three cans.
Don't skimp--you only want to do it once.

VHT is owned by PJ-1.
I like Plasti Kote the best, but as mentioned it's hard to find.I haven't tried RustOleum, but will if I can't find Plasti Kote.

MP paint used to fade badly when exposed to antifreeze spills or spray over. Don't know if they ever fixed that problem or not.

I found mine at Car Quest and I've also seen it at Tractor Supply, but not sure about what colors your store will carry.

Don't use the duplicolor hemi orange stuff, that crap is so thin it will take you many, many cans to get full coverage.
Autozone carries Rustoleum, but I've never used it.
i just used the rustoleum on mine.it is a little brite but i am not going for the resto look.
