My 72 RR has been sitting since the carb fire last aug. Is there a chance it's still good. I think there was half a tank left.

My car has been sitting with 1/4 tank since last spring. I went out last weekend and it fired right up. If you can siphon some out and try it in a lawn mower, that is if you can't run it in your car because of your carb. You may get lucky and be able to still use it.

I always have something sitting around with gas in it liker that and it seems to run.

It's hard to say one way or the other. It's probablly OK, but I had a heck of a time with a Cordoba a few years back. I bought it with a 318 and a blown 904. It had been sitting a while before I bought it. I swapped in a warmed over 360 but could not get it to start. I tried everything I could think of and nothing would work. For some reason I sprayed some starting fluid down the carb and it fired right away. I felt soooo stupid for not checking it right away.
