Finishing the wiring and plumbing on my dads truck, and I do not have an NHRA rule book handy.

I was curious how they want you to fix the panel for ignition stuff & electrical acc? Can I put a bolt thru the cage or do tabs need to be welded on to fasten it too.

Justin

If you drill a hole in the tube you need to weld a
tube into it.... tabs work fine

Slot the back panel of your control box and use hose clamps to fasten it to the cage.
It worked for me .

mine is mounted to the roll bar with 2 self tapping screws. roll bars are drilled for pop rivets and everything else. a screw to hold an electrical box isn't going to hurt a thing.

The cable tray is made by a company named Panduit and is available from electrical / electronics suppliers in different sizes . Mine`s built from odds and ends I had from previous jobs. The fuse block is from a 78 Volare' .
