I just put together a 499 and wondering if anyone has any input on the comination of parts i used. This is my setup. 69 440 block arp main studs billet main caps, line bored, Bored .055 with torque plates, o decked block, eagle 4.150 crank, eagle h-beam rods with cap screws, srp flat top pistons, perfect circle file fit rings, mopar stage V1 heads raised port, full ported numbers around 310 in. @.600, they are milled down to 72cc combustion chambers, comp is at 12.5 cam in a doug herbert grind solid roller 268-275@50 620 lift is with 1.5 mopar performance alum. roller rockers, crower solid roller lifters, cam installed @-0, mopar m1 intake for the raised port heads the intake was also ported to match the heads, morosso 2" 4150-4500 adaptor and dominator 1050, and some crappy 1 3/4 dynomax headers. it has about 180 p.s.i. cold cranking compression. I have ran it for break in only. The oiling system is basically all stock with a high volume pump.I am putting it in a 67 charger leaf spring car with 727 coan 8" 5000 converter and 8 3/4 with 3.91 just wondering estimated horsepower and e.t. and if there is anything that just doesnt sound right.

That's a lot of converter. I'll say mid-high 10's if it will hook. I'd probably back brace that 8.75. That's going to be a lot of torque.

Sounds like a really stout combo, and a nice quality parts list. Not sure how the dynomax headers made it on the list, but that would be my first to go - Get a good set of 2" headers. Should make 650-700hp and low to mid tens in the 1/4.

I have also read about drilling the oil pickup to the 1/2" and a couple other oil mods is this going to kill my new engine if I dont do these?

The same converter worked good with this motor before it was stroked. I would think it would also work well now.
