It's HIWAY FRICKEN ROBBERY is what it is! I need a bezel too! I know the resto parts are there and we are fortunate that these things are available today BUT I think some parts are just ridicoulous in price. That repro bezel shouldn't be any more than $75.00. It's injected molded, flash chromed, then painted black for PETES SAKE!
I could be wrong but I think B/E & A gets them from PG Classics. If I'm wrong Mike Ross, please correct me! CV Vacuum Platers in Canada get around $150.00 to restore that bezel and by the time you ship there and ship back, your at $200.00!!! I thought of stripping mine, sanding it and spraying it with chrome paint and then shooting the black upper part! Just a thought!
let me know how that works...... you can not duplicate the chrome plating! No paint out there will be chrome....PERIOD! Ive tried every "chrome" paint known to man and every one of them looks just like any silver paint sold on the market.
youre going to have to buck up or do it yourself and then convience yourself it looks just as good. It will not look like a new piece but if your budget is such that you must do it but realize it will not look the same.

I did mine myself two years ago. I used Alclad-2 #107 from a hobby store. It cost $7 for a small bottle. You need a airbrush to apply it. Two or three coats are misted over a gloss black base. Turned out really nice. The pic doesn't do it justice. There is also some stuff called "killer chrome" for $38 a spray can that uses the same principal. Of course plastic plating would be the best but, this is pretty close for paint. http://www.alclad2.com/http://www.kustomrides.com/supplies/spray-paint-killer-chrome.html
