Where did you come up with a rust free car?  I thought thet rust was standard equipment for our cars

The car started life in Nebraska..It has been a race car most of its life..I bought it from a freind of mine who kept it in a nice dry shed...There isn't even a pin hole in the floor or cowel..

I thought it was always 10.0 in NHRA. Is the 10.49 for a vert car or did NHRA just change it sometime ?? Ron

ok I found it..Your right you realy got to read all of it..real good !!
Roll bar required in all cars running 11.00 to 11.49 and in all convertibles running 11.00 to 13.49. Roll cage required in all vehicles running 10.99 or quicker or any cars exceeding 135 mph. In full-bodied cars, with unaltered firewall, floor, and body (from firewall rearward, wheel tubs permitted), running between 10.00 and 10.99, roll bar permitted in place of roll cage. In convertibles running 10.99 or quicker or exceeding 135 mph roll cage mandatory. Vehicles running between 9.50 and 9.99 must have current NHRA SFI chassis certification sticker.
