Can it fit without a Dr.Diff offset hanger kit or am I best to stay with a 15x8 w/4.5 Backspace. I was thinking 15x10 with 5.5 Backspace. I'm probably in the 475 Horsepower range with the new motor so I don't need a huge tire anyway and it's mostly street driven.
Thanks guys.

Don.

you could always put a rear end out of a b body, the housing is an inch and a half narrower mine is out of a 67 gtx

You should be fine with a 15 x 10" wheel. I just mocked up my Challenger with the Doctor Diff 1-1/2" relocation kit & Cal-Tracs this weekend. Its going to be close but I think it will work. I am running a 315/65/15 M/T Drag radial (30" x 13-1/2")on a Weld 15" x 12" Magnum 2.0 rear wheels with a narrowed Dana 60. It looks like I'll only have about 1/4' to the leafs & a 1/4 to the wheel well lip. like i said it close but it should work. Drag Radials don't grow like a slick does.

He said WITHOUT a doctor offset hanger kit....I don't think it will fit with a big tire....but it might with a 275 tire.

I run 10" wheels with a 1-1/4" DR diff offset hanger kit and 10" wide tire (28x12.50 ET STREET) and they are pretty close to the spring.

I did try the same tire on an 8" wheel with no offset hangers and had almost no room to the springs either...so I had to add the offset hangers. My 295-50-15's Cooper cobras fit with 8" wheels though and no offset hangers.
