Would a short fill, main studs and good machine work be adequate block prep for a blown 400 street/ strip engine? Probably use forged 383 crank, aftermarket rods and forged pistons aiming for about 8 to 1 compression. It's all a dream right now but we have this neat new forum and I thought I'd ask.

The stock mopar keys are beefy compared to some of the brand x Tom , 2011 Ram 3500 C&C Diesel 2009 Challenger R/T 1971 Challenger Conv. 511/4 speed 1970 Challenger R/T 503/727
