I'm not aware of any different colors avail in 1968 other than turquose, meaning the only engine orange in 1968 is a Hemi

Thats a great pic, got some other ones? 4-speed? is that the original rad with shroud ?
Yes 4spd. also a org rad., that had to be recored, without the shroud. I checked about the shrouds to find that all 22" 440's got them, but not 383's. Need one? I collected one in case I should have had it, but now have no plans for it.

Just picked up a 043, but my RR has a just recored 3 core 053 with the repop shroud and brackets, probably should have passed on the 043. oh well

69 RR Engine color. I too have a 69 with factory A/C. The engine is blue, but, it is stamped HP, Number/Date matching, has HP manifolds, distributor, etc. Never heard of a 69 RR with a 330hp engine --Satelite,Charger yes. Can't find this in any reference books either. If you can reference this, I would surely like to see it.
All factory A/C RRs and SBs had a 330 h.p. engine rather than the 335 h.p. from 1968-1970. It is confusing because they had what we call HP exhaust manifolds. All 383-4 engines had these manifolds. The difference in these two engines was just the cam, windage tray, and carbs. The rest including the fuel requirement was the same, although there was .25 difference in the compression rating listed. However looking at original engines and seeing the vast differences in engines regarding how far down in the hole the pistons were I don't think anyone could have ever told the difference.
