Just wondering if 225 70 15's will fit fine on the front of a 70 challenger, any one running that size on the front yours? I think I'll go with 235 75 15's on the back. If any one has any pics with show what 225 70 15's on the front I'd love to see them, thanks.

that sounds pretty large. If you have the torsion bars cranked way up, it will help some with clearance, but I would bet you rub when you turn. Wheel off set will make a difference also. I left 14s on the front of mine just because of previous rub problems with 15s on the front of other mopars that I've owened.

When I was buying tires for my 70 Challenger I tried a 225-70-15 (on a 15x7 rally) and it didn't fit. It brushed the fender at the front of the tire when the wheel was turned. I ended up going with a 60 series tire.

Mine '70 Challenger has 215/70/15 on 15 x 7 rallyes on the front. No rub at all. Some might say my torsion bars are a little tight but it has a good stance...

I have 225 70 15 on the front of my Challenger. They do not rub, but there is not much room between it and the front of the fender.
