440Jim I Live Here Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 16,928 NC	I had an oil pressure gauge break in the staging lanes when I started the car to go to the water box. Pulled off to the side. I took off the oil pressure line at the back of the block (1/8 tubing) and cranked it over... oil shot out over the fender! A fellow racer gave me a spare gauge and it all checked out fine. Went to eliminations that day and made it to 5th round. 1993 Daytona, 5.50 at 130mph (1/8) 1.19 sixty ft (PG). Link to 572 B1 - Part 1

[/quote Yes it was when I removed the cover, I didn't look up into that area before to look at it. Another turn it would have popped out. Left the pump on the block ,just removed the rotor and ring, inspected, greased them up and reassembled. it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead
