I think the closest you can get to an EDP look is to use a semi-gloss black and then wet sand it and buff. No one sells it in a can because it is basically a powder coat process.

I like the John Deere blitz black. It's a valspar enamel. They sell it by the gallon quart etc. with reducer and hardener but you can also order spraybomb cans of it. It is super tough and very forgiving.

You actually have to go to the store and buy it or order it- the John Deere store. Sometimes you'll see it on ebay too. The 'ratrod' crowd popularized it for that satin black look on the cheap.

Home Depot carries an epoxy appliance paint that comes in black but on the glossy side.
