I was wondering if anyone out there has painted there own gauge needles and what paint and color did they find worked well? Thanks Bob

Allen Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first. Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.

I have bought some floresent orange paint at my local building supply and I spray some in a paint cap or something to hold some paint and use a tiny artist brush to apply it as long as you have a steady hand. Here is a gauge cluster that I am doing for a customer. I installed a volt gauge instead of the amp gauge and installed an oil pressure gauge where they was just a light. I painted the needles this morning with the floresent paint.

Go to your local hobby shop and buy testors floresent red in a tiny bottle. It goes along way and is cheap as chips

Yes, as stated the flourescent red is the closer match to original...Those needles faded terribly and throw off the color match...
