I'm suprised that it didn't rain part of the time,  It always did, in a El Nino yr. when I was entered  I don't miss that place at all, way to crowded and way to long( tuesday to sunday, longer if it rains) for 6 to 10 runs, depending on how far I went in eliminations and if they ran class that year or not  Oh well, I don't race that deal anymore   6 to 10 runs in one day at the local bracket deal

Thanks so much!! Ever since they posted the first round of stock qualifying on Drag Race Central, I've been wondering what Steve Wann was driving! They have him listed in a 73 Dart, but I knew that was wrong because he was in A/SA!! Then I seen your shot of the fesh brown 70 GTX, and the question was answered!!

Don Garlits is sponsoring and helping out a Driver from Sweden ( I think) who is racing in Top Fuel. I also think ( I could be wrong) that Steve Wann is either driving for or got the car from Johnnie West from the Louisiana/Texas area who bought his old GTX a few years back. I also saw a picture from Pomona of his old GTX with his friend Charlie Smith driving. I follow stock pretty closely as I really like the class maybe some of you Stock gurus could confirm this.
