I've always used a magnetic drain plug,it has been a great early warning system. I'm not sure adding more magnets would do more than hide problems,but love to hear from others on it.I cut open my oil filters on the hot rod,but not on the daily driver.

I use a magnetic drain plug... if you use a magnet thats glued into a corner of the pan you couldnt see whats stuck on it unless you pull the pan

I have a magnet in my milidon oilpan now
when I had a charlies 10 quart aluminum oilpan I used moroso A%B epoxy it had come loose had to take the oilpan off it hanged too low for a street car
1.39 9.85 - 137 mph
