Could someone tell me where the trunk light mounts in the b-bodys. I can see where the switch goes ,but not the actual light. Where does it plug into the wiring harness? Thanks

It is located in the cutout of the truck near the lock mechanism.
Conncetions are made in the loom under the rear seat by the wheelwell, in the interior.

Driver side by the hinge. I'd have to check for where the wiring runs later.

on some cars, 68 coronet for example, the wire runs all the way up to kick panel area and thats where it plugs in.

Does anyone have a picture of the light mounted in the trunk lid? That would sure help. Thanks as always, for the great help that moparts members always give,

It mounts under the panel between window and deck lid. It mounts near the drivers side hinge. You'll see the screw hole. It does not mount to deck lid.

Does anyone make a kit to add that light,it would need the switch and light,etc...

I bought a real nice set up on ebay. Complete light, harness , switch. All looked like new. It was 20 bucks with shipping. There listed on there quit often.

key light was part of optional light group. So was trunk lamp

A01 "light package" included the fender top mounted turn signal indicators, the map light, a time delay light on the ignition key switch, a glovebox light, (console light if it had one) and a driver's side mounted trunk light.
