Anyone know of some GOOD QUALITY nickel chrome hole plugs that are avail. I can only find the crap ones

I got them at Radio Shack.But that was a long time ago.

For their intended purpose and low cost, quality control is not likely to be a big concern. It's kind of like buying common washers and expecting them to be a consistent thickness ... ain't gonna happen! If you went to a large hardware supply and went through a 100-count box of plugs you might find some nice one's but the chances of the clerk giving you a box full to find a half dozen "nice" ones is unlikely.

I use chrome plugs from the hardware store or home depot in the plumbing section for pluging of faucet ports etc.

I never thought about using plugs for a faucet........ I bet they would be a better quality item.
