Is there any good combo's that a mid 80's to 90's dakota 3.9 or 5.2 bellhousing will work with a hydrolic clutch and a 5 speed? I am looking for a cheaper alternative for my Cuda?

I have these part out of a '90 or so B series half ton van with an NP555 5 speed. I don't know what other transmissions the bellhousing will bolt to but it uses a slave cylinder and a 130 tooth flywheel/ 10.5 clutch

Not really sure what you are asking but 94 and up Ram 1500 have hydraulic clutches.

Might be easy to retrofit since they still use a clutch fork with the hydraulic slave on the outside of the bellhousing.

SOME 833 ODs with the /6, starting in ~86 also had a hydro setup. same BH as a mechanical setup. IDK if they put this setup in a SB with a stick. I saw alot of info on this in a Raybestos catalog.

I am likewise looking for a "better deal" to putting a 5 speed into my car than places like Keisler offer; looking towards a T5 or T45 for my volare. and likewise I want to run a hydro clutch. this will be behind a Magnum 318.

The dakota slave cylinder is a very good alternative to the aftermarket hydraulic throw-out bearings. The aftermarket TO bearing put everything inside the bellhousing where the Dakota hydraulics used an external slave cylinder on the outside of the transmission. Both systems are excellent with one great big difference. The external system keeps the fluid away for the clutch. I've never had good luck with leaky hydraulic line. When installing your linkage to the pedal remember the 1:6 rule. Measure the length of your clutch pedal from the pivot and divide that by 6. The answer will be where the clevis pin needs to be. This works and all aftermarket companies use this. What year cuda are you building. E-Body or A-Body - Master cylinder brackets and linkages are available.
