I am looking at Milodon oil pump covers 21200,21210,21220,21230. Milodon and Mancini websites do not show any pictures of these and only give vague descriptions of each. I am putting a 440 in a '38 Plymouth that is on a Dakota chassis. The oil filter mounting face on the stock oil pump interferes with the steering rod that comes out of the rack. I want to run a remote filter and use a pump cover that does not have the filter mating face, in order to gain clearance to the rack. Milodon lists some of these pump covers as 'motor plate style' , also lists some as Hemi/Wedge and some as Wedge(didn't know there were any difference). I will be using spool type motor mounts and not motor plates. I will probably use the stock internal pick-up. Here are some of my questions:
1. Can all of these use either single external line or standard internal block pickup by plugging the external line fitting?
2. Are all of these made to run a remote filter?
3. Will all of these work with a Melling pump?
4. How can I determine which cover I need with no
pictures and vague descriptions?
5. Will all of these work with either a Wedge
or Hemi ?
