I have been instructed to drill my throttle blades to achive the correct idle charactistics with my high lift cam and was wondering if changing to a higher flowing PCV valve you could achive the same thing by allowing more air into the engine to get the T-blades where they belong?

Im not following your question very well...Im not even sure what PCV valves would have any affect on idle quality...Most dont bother to run PCV on race orientated cars cause they have zero effect at WOT when you need it the most.

For a Chrysler there are 2 sizes... 4 cyl and V-8
and if your using a V-8 PCV thats the larger of the two

It will, 8 CFM is a common measurement.
However: it admits only air (if your ring seal is good), and drops the vacuum in your idle and transition slots.
It may work, but not exactly the same way and will take some tweaking.
You could just admit regulated air via banked solenoids, or an adjustable valve.
Have you tried cracking the secondaries slightly?

I don't know about flow rates but this one mopar pn 4343581 color black seems to work better than the gray one 3671076.

4343481 was used in 1990 for trucks with a 360 & dual exhaust.

I use two PCV valves, one in each cast aluminum valve cover and two breathers on my motor to help it idle at 850 RPM in gear, I used a vacume Tee to hook the two together to the vacume port on the carb The cam(solid roller) is 260 @ .050 on the intake and 266 @ .050 on the exhaust.

Do you happen to have a part # or number on the valve you could provide us?
Why 2?
thanks

Both valves are metal V8 1968 era stockers that I had, the reason for two is twice as much vacume leak to help lower the idle RPMs

so do you run 2 vents too?

Cab, I could understand 2 pcv valves on one side and breathers on the other but w/a breather AND a pcv valve on the same side doesn`t it defeat the purpose and draw directly from the side it`s on instead of THROUGH the motor?

Brett had a petcock on his intake that he would adjust, mainly to lean out the motor so it would warmup faster on alky, but it could be used for the same purpose. The idea in your case is to get the throttle plates back in the transition slots. The petcock may work, but since it is a controlled vacuum leak idle mixture and part throttle will be lean, which you may have to account for with primary jetting/idle mixture.

There really is no reason for 2 vents... the area
of one beather/vent is far greater than the area of
2 PCV valves

There is a way around this.... run a throttle switch
to a solenoid to open and close a port... T in a
added orifice with a solenoid before the orfice and
when you let of the pedal it contacts the switch and
opens the orifice
