Anonymous OP Unregistered A	Need some info on what size rims and tires i want to put on my 1974 Barracuda. I want to know what's the largest rims and tires that someone knows will definitley fit with all standard equipment like springs and ride height. I was thinking about 17" or 18" rims. I cant get really low profile tires due to the lousy roads and potholes in the NYC area, so i need a decent tire. Also what width size tire can i use that wont rub on the front and back

I have super stock springs with 1" lowering blocks, so not too much higher over stock. 255/45/17 fronts, 17x8, 4.5"bs - 26.1" tall 295/45/18 rears,18x9, 5.9bs, 7/16" spacers, 3" studs - 28.5" tall No rubbing anywhere, stock spring location and 1/4s

But they are very nice tires to drive on. ZR rated..but that doesn't do me much good with 3.91s Not too many companies make the 295/45/18 that i needed specifically to run, i think goodyear makes them as well. But they are even more proud of their tire than Nitto. Rear 295/45/18s were $200ea, fronts 255/45/17 were i think in the $130 range per tire. Quote: That is an awesome looking Cuda!
