I am going to get my rear bumper rechromed and was wanting to replace the old chrome bumper bolts with some new ones. Where can I get these or will I have to reuse the old ones. The bumper is off of a 71 scamp. Thanks.

Yep-thats them. Thanks for the picture and quick feedback. What is the price on these? Also one last question. On the bumber brackets there are these stick on circular foam pads that I am going to have to remove so that I can paint the bumber brackets. Does anyone make these or will I just have to improvise?

I've used stainless carriage bolts before with good results. Polish up great.

Found mine at Ace Hardware. They had a rotating display with drawers full of chrome fasteners.

I've done the same...the local bolt place has a good assortment of stainless stuff (including the carriage bolts) and they will polish up great. Just give them a touch up now and then if needed, and least will never peel or corrode like chromed steel.

Anyone have an opinion on bumper bolts from Firestone Collectibles? According to their website, they are the correct steel capped bolts in the right size.
Not cheap, though $2.50 each!
