Where do you get your rattle can paint supplied from? I need a few cans of Race Hemi Orange but all the places in the States I can find refuse to ship them internationally (obviously since its explosive and air express is a no no) Any of the racers in Denmark, UK, Germany, etc have a line on some rattle cans?

I know that companies over here will fill spray cans with what ever paint that you want, Why not have a quart of paint shipped over to you and then have someone fill the spray cans for you. It might be cheaper too. good luck

What ever you do, don't bother trying to bring it with you in your luggage at LAX..

Thanks Arnd...I just emailed him....Hopefully Monday I'll hear something...otherwise that paint quart mixing and spray can assembly might have to settle up....and Oz....nothing of the sort will be in my bags ...I am contemplating coming without bags in June and just ship a crate out to Europe with stuff...

I always bring loads of car parts back and forth to Oz ...my buddy I work with tried to bring a couple cans of trunk paint (for a '69 Camaro) back with him for a car in Oz that was almost done....the TSA dude at LAX was less than impressed with the idea

http://www.six-packspeedshop.be/ is another good source for anything Mopar in Europe.

I personally get my engine paint from Bill Hirsch

http://www.hirschauto.com/

It comes in a non pressurised tin for brushing on (which it does VERY well) but it can also easily be thinned and sprayed on.

2002 Chevrolet Corvette 5.7 LS1 2011 Alpha Romeo Giulietta Veloce 1.6 JTD Because running a Mopar in the UK is getting TOO expensive!!

How would you compare this product to the actual color of Race Hemi Orange. If it was from the beginning I wouldn't be worried but its an existing color on an engine and I wanna have it match

My mistake. Looking at their list of paints it seems they only stock the Street Hemi Orange as used on the high performance big blocks from the late 60s on.

This would be too red for the early 60s Race Orange you want.

Although if it is for that '69 Charger in your signature you are looking for the wrong color. That car would have a Street Hemi Orange engine I would have thought?

on an update....I found 2 rattle cans of spray paint in my garage packed in a box...both unused...One is Race Hemi Orange and one is Street Hemi orange which just sends me even deeper into what color is the one I really want. Neither one of the spray cans have been used but again, neither of them spits out any paint either....What can I do to coax the paint out? Any tricks on stubborn spray bomb cans?
