Curious. I saw a Panther Pink 71 Charger R/T with SE roof pillar badges.
If such a combo existed in 71 as previous years, what was the interior fashioned after, the R/T seats and door panel designs or the SE style?

no... on 71 you only could get R/T or SE.
R/T package is complete enough to don't need SE package added, but hideaways, and they were optional. Rest of probably SE stuff ( but canopy roof ) was also optional to add it. I don't remember R/Ts were canopy roof optioned. I think not
The SE package offered on 69s made more differences against R/Ts or any other, like the woodgrains, Pocket maps and leather covers in front. 71s never got pocket maps or leather covers on any model, and woodgrain was part of R/Ts

sorry... yes you are alright, but not on EVERY Charger SE, just CR interior codes so wasn't in that way by default... also a diff upper panel. But panel is just ornament, nothing functional really

I had a 71 SE with orange block 383 Mag, pistol grip, leather seats and trunk dress-up. The 71s did come with leather.

Saw a green 71 SE U code with a auto at Mopars with Big Daddy in Ocala, FL. Only one I've seen, or noticed anyway.

Hi Guys,
What initially led me to post this question is a pic I found on the web of a Panther Pink 71 Charger R/T at an indoor car show propped up on fancy Pink painted ramps - had black R/T door stripes and a full black vinyl top with SE badges on it.
The pic I downloaded was too big for Moparts and being abit computer tarded I don't know how to post it.
Ive never seen a 71 charger SE with a full vinyl roof, only the canopy 1/2 roofs.

A small chance... But it's more probable that the SE received a door transplant somewhere along the line. It seems like it is becoming more popular for SE owners to add R/T or Rallye items (doors, PB hoods) to their SE's. To each his own... As for the vinyl top, the canopy-type was the standard SE top but the full vinyl top was an option on the SE. R/T's came standard w/o a vinyl top and the full vinyl top was an R/T option. I don't believe the canopy-type vinyl top was available on the R/T (not sure about the SuperBee). Almost every other trim option could be added to any model with one noteable exception. The front and rear spoilers were not available on the SE. Rear spoiler(wing) was an option for all other Charger models.

Not original color being that pink was a 70 only color.
Oh yeah?
The car in question here is a put together car. Not sure what it started out as.
