Lot of experienced W5 guys on here,so let's hear it. Only guidelines- E-85,solid roller cam,4.030 max bore,4"max stroke. Parts already have: new W5 heads(going to RyanJ max effort port job),x-block,large runner intakes(4150 and 4500),1050cfm 4150 e85. Going in '70 dart,weight w/driver 2850, 904w/brake,lt.weight 8.75,caltrac/mono,10.5x30 tire.

Welcome to the jungle.... see what Ryan has to say... any idea of compression yet... looks good so far... on the 8 3/4 is it back braced and does it have after market caps(at least 1 on the load side)... with that weight it shouldnt be a problem... at least I dont have a problem, but now days I run the alum 8 3/4

When bought carb,compression thoughts where 13.5 but think we can go way more if don't lug @ low rpm's. Don't know max for e85. Think this is balancing act/not overpower 10.5 tire but good 60ft and pull hard rest of way. Looking for info on how to do things better!
I'm at 14.1:1 with E-85, one of the guys on here has 15 something on his hemi with E-85... my cam has a 112 lsa installed at 108
