Can anyone decipher/elaborate on what rods will/will-not interchange thru the years, realizing that chal/barr need to be different. (within . Per parts books it changed after 70 then reverted back in later years.

In 71 they changed to 1 rod instead of two. They must have realized their mistake and went back to 2 rods in 72. Now I have seen some 71's that have 2 so maybe it was changed before 71 production ended.

I kind of suspected that-TU. Another Question: Can anyone elaborate on the differences between rods for HT & Conv's? Why would there be a difference since decklid for either is the same witthin a body type. Thanx
