I need to replace the carpet in my 71 and 68 Barracuda's and I was wondering where people were buying carpet.

I looked at Legendary yesterday and they are asking $165.

Legendary's price is about right. Check with the Paddock.

I've bought from ACC & Dante's on the my 2 B-bodys. Seems the heel pad and the height & width have been issues on E bodies judging from other posts. I'm sure some E guys will chime in here.

Hopefully someone's "puter saavy" enough to pull up the recent carpet thread regarding E bodies from the depths of Moparts h3ll

But in any case, either from Legendary, or ACC (AutoCustomCarpet) directly

According to that thread, just about everyone is selling ACC.

I recently bought a carpet set from Year One, listed price the same $165 as legendary (then applied the moparts 15% code plus volume discount).
Its an ACC carpet and I am less than impressed with the fitment. Its like they missed a little with the rear floor molds, think core shift.

I got carpet for my 62 Sport Fury from 1A Auto back in July 08. It was drop shipped from ACC. Cost $136 delivered. I was very happy with the fit. ACC wanted a lot more buying direct from them.

A friend of mine bought carpet from Dante's and he was very satisfied with the quality and customer service.

Yep, I think 80/20 loop is all YO offers for my car.

It's ok, just seems to me like they formed it a little narrow. If you try to get the outside contours deep in the corners, there is a lot too cut off the edge and it lays away from the tunnel. If you smooth it to the tunnel, the outside contours are out of the corners. Maybe I just need to apply some patience and warm it and form it better myself. Or I just got a bad one.

It was great on my last car.

After the last quote I got from Dave Layson for interior parts for the Duster I can't afford to deal there,(way more expensive than Legendary or Dante)

For the highest quality get your carpet from ECS.

RockAuto sells ACC carpet. Putting mine in now.

They definitely have the lowest price.

The way I'm reading their site, RockAuto is the same price for the same product.

80/20 - 80% Rayon & 20% Nylon Loop Carpet - 127.79

80/20 Carpet with Mass Back for additional moldability, sound deadening, and insulation - 166.79

Got mine from Dante and it was by Trim parts. Great fit even for a 4 gear. Bought ACC when it was an automatic and you can see right thru the pile in some areas. Lacked quality compared to Trim Parts.

We have had better luck with the Trim Parts carpets. Have not tried the ECS carpet yet.

Ive been told its actually more tahn just that......They stick to a lot closer tolerences for ECS as far as hump location and heel pad location etc.

I ponied up the extra to get the ECS carpet for my current build ,but I havent fit it yet. Looks really good though.
