Will this pump support both eng and nitrous or do you have to run a seperate pump for the Nos?

Cheers

Need a lot more info to answer that question. FWIW I had an A1000 in a FI deal that just plain didn't work. I'd never again use another one of those pumps.

The A1000 pump will handle either EFI (45PSI) or carburetors depending on the regulator used. It can flow enough to handle up to 1200 HP (carbureted) so there's plenty of flow left for the nitrous.

I use a lot of these pumps and have very few problems!

Thanks for the reply guys.

What do classify as very few problems.

Engine is W2 headed 410 stroker with all forged internals, Indy 360-2 intake haven't worked out cam as yet and comp as was thinking of turboing it but I dont think I can get the comp low enough to boost so was thinking of nitrous with this eng and then sell to buid turbo eng.
Would like to make around 550+hp NA and then some gas, should be fun.
Hence the question regarding the A1000. Set it up now and don't worry later.

Cheers

Did you run a fuel pump controller with them on a street car, or was it ok as was ?
I have a A1000 and matching regulator on an EFI car I am building, will be street used mainly and was wondering about the controller they sell

I was told I don't need one, 600 street miles so far and rock solid fuel pressure.

i dont on mine, but i only drive each one a few hundred miles a year.i think the return style system with a pump that flows thru keeps the pump cool.i have driven a couple hours around town in summer, then put the car on the lift and felt the pump.it was only warm, not hot.

Mine is a return system, but plan on using the car abit (once it's done ) I have a pretty large fuel tank too, so fuel should keep recirculating around while it's more than 1/4 full at least.

I have had one for yrs. Its good to 400pph @ 45psig. Thats about it.

FYI thats about 400hp of nitrous or about 900hp NA. Burnt a lot of pistons finding this out.
