I have about 2k saved so far for a stroker kit.

Thinking about using a 360 block cause everyone wants to retire on these 340 blocks if they have them.

my question is who has the best deal on a 408 kit?

I need something pump gas friendly and something with a piston that could take a little juice.

I'm gonna use the top end off my current motor. Ported eddy heads m1 intake 750 carb 1 3/4 headers

This is one kit I found

Thanks

Phil

There should be a ton of kits out there for that application. Try the typical Mopar vendors such as Hughes Engine, Mancini Racing, etc.

I would go with the Callies DragonSlayer kit if you can come up with a 340 block. Great parts and cost the same as the others.

We use Scat cranks, I beam rods, KB forged pistons and clevite race bearings along with either hastings or TS rings.
Best quality out there and we are dealers for other companies selling mopar lower end components.

I'd probably piece a kit together myself, or order the pieces through a builder here, DRAM, Brian (OU812), Ryan J, Dwayne Porter, etc. Lots of options depending on your location and who you want to work with.

That's what I did, K-1 4" crank, Comp Star rods and Diamond pistons. All from Dram. I got 2.1" rod journals, more rods lengths are available in this size. Plus it helps the clearence at the bottom of the cylinder.
