Hey guys for my High School Senior project I need some dyno results for small block and big block engines. Post up your results the engine size and what you have done to them. If anyone has the stock specifications for the 383 that would be great as well.

I'll do ya one better. I'll photo copy all my dyno sheets from my dyno session, shows HP, tq, lbs fuel per hour, etc. measured in 100 rpm increments.

I'd have to snail mail them to you though.

or I could fax them if you've got access to a fax machine

The typical Factory specs for a stock 383 back in the late 60,s were

290 HP for the 2 barrel

330 HP for the 4 barrel

and as far as "stock 383 specs" what do you need? hp/tq only?

depends on which year and variant, but I think most of the 2bbl 383s were 290-ish HP, and the 4bbls were around 330-335Hp. I don't remember the torque numbers off the top of my head though.

EDIT: DOH! that's what happens when your posting at work, something comes up that needs your attention when you're in mid-post, you comeback, finish your post, and find out that someone already beat you to it by 10 minutes!
