My description for lack of a better term. On my '68 RR there are two openings in each inner fender to access the upper control arm adjustment bolts. The forward ones are sheet metal and screwed into the fender (I have those). The two rear ones (I only have one in place on the passenger side) are some type of stiff cardboard type of material held in place by spring pins (another one of my descriptions).

Does anyone know if they repro those rear inspection covers?

Thanks

Frank

they are used to access the cam bolts durring alignment.

I know the rubber ones with the clips are repoped, I assume most repo shops have them. There is also a metal one not sure if it repoped or not.

Oh, this is for an e-body but I assume b body is the same

Right, the rears are rubber, using wire spring-clips to attch them. The fronts are metal, with hex-head screws attaching them.
I think all 4 are being reproduced; one of those things one sees in an ad somewhere, but doesn't remember later whose ad it was...might have been in MCG.

Yes the front ones are metal. I have those.

It's the rear ones I'm in need of.

Anyone else with a possible source?

Thanks
Frank

Bill,

Thanks a lot.
I figured if any one would know, you would.

BTW, I once went out with a girl that tried to do that to me.

I really appreciate the info.

I just ordered them from Jim at DMT. A real claass act and all around good guy.

I made my own and duplicated the original (hard and dried up) rubber ones. Turned out perfectly.....and a lot cheaper than the pricing listed above!
