Ive looked for a while and have only found one picture of the back of an original fold down rear seat. Does anyone know what kind/color carpet was original on the back of the rear fold down seats in the a-body barracuda's? More specifically a 1968. Mine has a yellowish-green color (kind of the same color as the original paint) on the rear seat but it looks like house carpet.

Were they all black? Is it the same kind of carpet that is on the floors or was it more of a felt like on speaker boxes?

here's one out of a 68 FB I have stored away. Black carpet, matched the rest of the carpet in the car as well as the upholstery. Its a little sun faded.

Same carpet as rest of the car. The carpet in the back takes a beating from the sun and fades and rots.

My question has always been why is the price of extra carpet so much higher than a moulded floor set? Anyone with a '68 Barracuda that has the decor package has to have a lot more carpet than other cars.
