The hangover at Dragway 42 is run regardless of weather conditions on January 1st. There is no track prep (plowing) and everyone runs the current year as an index, so this year will be a 20.10. I'm taking my '74 Dart. Anyone else going to try?

So they're running their normal track conditions.

I apologize, I just couldn't resist.

Traction might be better with snow on the track. As an added plus there won't be any dust.

Congratulations to Lonnie Smith for his runner-up in the 4-wheel drive class at the 11th Annual Hangover Nationals.

Smith's 2009 Dodge Ram truck fell to Brian and Tim Chillik who took their 3rd Hangover Nats win in the past 6 years in a Chebby dually.

Yeah...it gets into every nook and cranny....

Somone needs to "vandalize" the pits in say....March....with say an oil sprayer and the waste oil tank......

"Vandals appear to have used a garden spayer in the soaking of the pit area with oil, track owners say it will take nearly a year to clean up and that the vandals did no other damage"

Anyone got some night vision goggles ?

But I love 42...hallowed ground...and every time I go I lug more back to the shop
